As a matter of fact,I really fear dentists as hell.I have got tooth problems and have to often visit dentists. The drilling machine and other equipments are like the weapons of destruction. And the teeth really aches when sealing or other treatments are done.. I really hate them!!!!

I am scared of the dentist but not in the traditional way. For me the problem is what do I need to have done and how much will it cost. What also concerns me is having to move dentists or my dentist leaving the practice (as has happened before). It takes me forever to feel comfortable with a dentist and knowing that I have to see a new one stopped me going for ages (over a year). However, the man I see at the moment is brill and really understands me as I have been with him for over two years now.

I don't like the denist at all!!!! I really don't ever remember liking having to go to the denist. In fact I don't like them so much when my mom asked me to take my brother I dropped him at the door and wouldn't go in! I did last year have some dental problems and was forced to go to the denist but I took a volume before I went. It helped a lot! I didn't much care what was going on.

I would fear them quite a bit after listening to all the experiences that friends wwent through. However recently i was forced to go and do some very detailed procedures with them. And as traumatic that they may have been, i have also lost any fear of the dentists.

I used to hate going to the dentist, now that i have worked in the dentist as a receptionist i don't hate it to much as i have found things that shouldn't bother me as much as they used to. I try to relax and enjoy it. My hygienist is young and i can relate to her since we are almost the same age and i like that. I have found some things that i could buy in the toothpaste toothbrush isle at walmart that will help me with the flossing in the back of my teeth because they used to really hurt every time i would leave the dentist and i hated that so i have gotten some new things to use and hopefully the next time i visit it would be to long and wont hurt as bad. Have a great day mylotting.

Maybe you need to find a better dentist that is sympathetic to your needs. My children are afraid of the dentist but my kids are ok with the dentists because I found them a dentist that deals with their needs. They have dentists that will help you be more comfortable.
