Have you ever had anything that really bothered you about yourself?I have a small white mouth ulcer on my tongue it has got quite large but not enourmous so,it was not going with any medication I took.So off to the doctors and he sent me to the oral department at my local hospital.I attended the appointment today,I don't mind admitting being terrified,of all the things I have had wrong with me this was the worst,affected my speech.sometimes getting caught in my front teeth.My friends dragged me out of the house saying you are fine you cannot stay in like this.The doctor told me today it was a harmless cyst and he was going to chop it off for me next tuesday with no problem at all.I will have the same injection as at the dentist,he will make a small inscision in my tongue.remove it and stitch it with a disolvable stitch no problem.My friend almost had to carry me out of the hospital.I was so releaved it was going to be such a simple thing.It is going to be sore for a while and I will have to be carefull what I eat for a week or two.Have you been like me at fifty something about the age I think.Come on lets hear your stories.xx
