I like to shop at Walgreens, Riteaid, and CVS pharmacy. These three stores offer some kind of in store rebate. This helps you get some of your personal items for free. Rite aid has a rebate where you buy the merchandise and then you get the money back at the end of the month. CVS offers extra bucks which appear at the bottom of your recipe when you buy certain items. This is money that you can only spend in the CVS store. Walgreens also had a mail in rebate but they have stopped that. Now Walgreens offers you what is called register rewards. These are coupons that print out at the register when you buy certain items. These coupons are then used to make your next purchase. These three stores with their rebates have allowed me to stock up on shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and toothbrush.
AS far as clothes well I like a small store that handles name brands at marked down prices. I can not think of the name right off hand. However, they have good prices.
I like to shop at Lakeside online for home decorations that are cheap. I also use Amazon.com as well for different things. I am not so picky about where I shop as I am extremely picky about saving money. I will buy anywhere that I can save a few dollars.

I like to shop at thrift stores because I often find really unique items for low prices. Thrift stores are also a great way to be environmentally friendly, because it is a form of recycling. Instead of getting thrown away, clothes and other items get re-used. The sales at thrift stores are usually used to support some kind of charity or community program. Goodwill, for example, runs a program to help people with mental and physical disabilities find work.

Hello mermaidivy,
I don't have a favorite place to shop for certain stuff. When I find the stuff attractive and affordable for my budget, I will buy. Sometimes I do find some nice stuff they sell at night market and I don't have a problem to buy from there too.
