| |  Yeah I am looking forward to it. Beside this series, wing ducks the only real rivalry series. I think Pens Caps could get VERY VERY nasty very quickly. I wouldnt mind seeing a line brawl of Ovie vs Crosby and Semin vs Malkin..
btw how about Fedorov, is he as being of differnce maker so far as the kid in net.

| | I think the only reason The caps are still playing is the goalie change. The kid is great and he is only 21 so he will bet netter. Ovie, Backstrom, Federov a can score their a%%es off but if we don't have a goalie, you will lose the game. | | | |

| |  The battle between Ovechkin and Crosby will unfortunately remain on the scoresheet. There was some pushing and shoving and words exchanged last time between these two but with Brashear out for the first 5 games of this series Ovechkin, a guy who has never dropped the gloves, has no re-enforcements behind him. He could clock Crosby but then the Penguins target Ovechkin to protect their star and there's nobody to protect Ovechkin. Ovechkin will antagonize Crosby but that's as far as it will go.
There were a few games against the Rangers where I didn't think Ovechkin was really into the game, at least not for the full 60 anyway. With them playing the Penguins, that will not be a problem. It's going to be a scoring frenzy for Ovechkin, Semin and Crosby, Malkin, despite the spectacular goaltending at both ends of the rink. The momentum changes so much between these two teams that it should be the best series of the playoffs. Possibly one to remember for years to come.

| | Malkin hasn't been in play yet. I wonder why. Ovie is a tough guy but he isn't a little ball of hate .. He will finish his checks and he will talk but no cheap shots or He won't do anything stupid.But with that said I could see Ovie dropping the gloves if need be. I am glad Brashear isn't playing. We don't need a goon.although The Caps and pens plain hate each other but there hasn't been any cheap stuff abd frankly I haven't missed it. | | | |
