Do you prefer a bunk bed or 2 twin size beds?

I bought my daughters a bunk bed for my oldest daughters 5th birthday. I love bunk beds because they dont take up as much room. Where we live our bedrooms aren't that big. I would have prefered 2 twin sized beds bunk I enjoy the bunk beds. The thing I do not like about the bunk beds is getting the spread sheet on the mattress. It's really hard to do, expessially being 7 1/2 months pregnant. So, which do you prefer regular twin beds or bunk beds?

When I was a child and my family went on holiday somewhere with a bunk bed I would rush over and get the higher bunk. I wasn't at all interested in sleeping in the lower bunk. During my teenage years and my twenties I stayed in youth hostels when traveling. Most youth hostels in their dorms have bunk beds. I was happy to sleep on either bunk, top or bottom.
The bedrooms are small in my home. Therefore I might have to consider bunk beds in the future. I have a teenage son, a toddler son and am currently 32 weeks pregnant with my daughter. My older son sleeps in a single bed and my toddler son sleeps in a cot. He will soon outgrow that. He is disabled so I need to make sure if he goes in a bed he won't fall out.
