I am switching internet/phone service. For $50 a month I get phone and internet with 1 mb. for $70 a month I get the phone, a bnch of extras I don't partiularily care about anyway, but the internet is 3mb. What's the difference with the mb's? I don't do much on the internet... email, mylot, GPT/PTC, searches and make some purchases online from time to time.. no online games or other major things... so... is there any advantage to the 3mb over the 1mb? I dont' want to go as slow as dial up.. I don't want to sit for a while while things download or upload or whatever it is doing... but at the same time.. I don't need maxium speed either! I am going through my local phone company for the connection. I currently have DSL - but I thought htat was the speed type, but find out it is only the option of being able to be online and use the phone at the same time..which is a must-have, but has nothing to do with speed.. soo.... It 2mb worth $20 a month? Thanks for any comments! ALways trying to save a buck!
