First wash your hands, next make everyone around you wash their hands (with soap), now stop worrying over illness that you cannot do anything else about. If you are still worried about that then clean your house and do not let anyone in. And certanly cancel any and all travel that involves Mexico, airplanes, and anyother area that has had an outbreak. As far as bills and such go, if it is warm enough fill your tub with cool water and soak for a short while. There is no real cure. I have to just ignore the issue of money. I do not spend it anymore unless it is for bills, so we work as much as we can (which here lately has not been very much) and we prioritize our bills. The real relaxation that I enjoy is reading a good book, sitting in a quite area and just relax, find something to keep your hands busy, breath deeply, and smile, even if you do not mean it.

I abolutely agree, by being reasonable and logical we can head off alot of stress some before it even starts. I agree with everything Okkie said, all great ideas, I'd just like to add a few more. Talk with your friends, especially those that make more money than you do. I'm in this situation right now, my friends make more money than I do and they like eating out and shopping, this makes it hard for me because I want to hang out but I can't afford to eat out and I don't want them paying for me. Talk to them, plan to cook or take sandwitches to a park and talk. There are so many ways to have fun when brown-bagging it. :D Things to do so you aren't sacreficing fun because you don't have money: go to the library! Our public library has a rather nice video section, free rentals, they'e not new releases but it's fun and free. Parks are fun, and community service is a great way to relieve stress, you're helping others and there are so many venues there is sure to be some way to help that interests you. Being useful is a great stress reliever. :D
