I am all for 'giving' than receiving. Cause there is no greater joy to see your friend happy and content, and especially if you've made a difference in their life.

I give what is enough. I don't give to the point of being left with almost nothing. Well some people are like that and they really amaze me! I am also a person in need and what joy it is to receive. To be honest, I want to receive more than I give. I know that isn't running towards the good-me side but I am not also selfish. I give when I feel like giving. It's just that most of the time, I wish mor about receiving.

I never even to think about this before read this discussion, personally I neither giving or receiving person, I only share what I thought appropriate and I'm always ready to receive anything from my friend, I always believe in the giving and receiving balance theory, tough there's no way to archive that perfect balance I did like to try it with my friend. I'm afraid if I'm giving too much, my friend will try to avoid me, I don't want to feed that kind of thought to my friends.
