i pitied some of my friends everytime they have their menstruation every month, they would just cried because of dysmenorrhea. i dont know what is the real cause of this, they said that it's because you've eaten a sour mango before having your menstruation. i think that it is not true. when i suffer with dysmenorrhea, i just drink a bottle of beer, and then suddenly the pain will be gone.

i'm one of the lucky few who don't suffer from this. sometimes there is pain but it is tolerable. sometimes when it hurts more than normal i know i had to have a bowel movement
but can't since i hadn't taken enough fiber.

I had a hysterectomy when I was 38 so I haven't had dysmenorrhea in a long time. I used to have it a lot, though. I used to take vitamin B6 to help me. I had endometriosis so that can account for my painful periods. I also had fibroids. The main reason why I had to have a hysterectomy was because I had a lump pressing on my colon and my gastroenterologist thought it could have been coming from my uterus since I had fibroids. I'm just glad those days are over.
