Miracles are by definition something contrary to natural laws/physical laws. So, even though sometimes people say that a flower or a baby or the sunset are "miracles," they aren't: they are well understood within the processes of natural laws.
When seemingly impossible things happen to people (surviving a nasty car-wreck, beating a cancer that doctors thought impossible, etc.), they feel especially "blessed" and fortunate, and are often predisposed to view their experience as a miracle--especially if they are religious in nature. Also, incredible coincidences are sometimes thought "miraculous" (a tortilla resembling Jesus or Elvis, etc.).
There is no need to turn to supernatural explanations ("miracles") when perfectly normal physical explanations will suffice--even when a coincidence or event seemed improbable to those involved. Belief in miracles is more easily explained through psychology than through positing extra-natural entities, principles, or causes.

Yes in a sense I do believe in miracles it was almost 2 years ago that I lost a baby in my almost 8 month of pregnancy. The doc told me he was never more pleased to see someone in his office as he did me as I was really close to loosing my own life...He had it in his mind to put me in ICU but I prooved I was a figher and strong I believe with my health problems and what I've faced it is a miracle I'm here!

The only benefit of beliving in miracles is the Plasebo effect. Just like a sugarpill can "cure" some kind of "mental dissorder" that indirectly affects some other part of the body.
The rest of miracles are by chance.
...Odd thing there seem to be a lot of these miracles that kill people.
...No...wait these are called medical mysteries
*Buzzman need to go read up on his terminology* Peace
