Do you like sequels to a particular movie, and if so, which ones?

I usually don't like sequels, but there are a few exceptions. like, Spiderman, Star Wars and Batman Returns( and The Dark Knight) . There have been 'not so good' moments with other movies like Star Trek, X-Men and a few more which I can't recollect immediately. All in all, sequels rarely retain the fame and glory of their predecessors. Let me know what you think of sequels?

I agree with you some sequels suck. I have seen some that was better then the first one though. I like Aliens 2 and Terminator 2, to me they were a lot better than the first one.

I tend to be the same, I usually watch sequels with much trepedation as they are rarely as good as the first. X-Men definitely stands out as bucking the trend by having a sequel which is equal if not better than the first. But the sequel which I like the most is the Godfather Part II as it takes everything which was so great about the first Godfather movie and just builds upon it, giving plenty of back story as well as progressing the story down new avenues.

well most people say the sequels are not as good as originals and i have found it to be true in some cases but i have also liked many movies which had sequels and i liked all the sequels.. the names being
hollywood:
1) Gods must be crazy
2) First blood
3) Rocky
Bollywood ( India)
1) Dhoom
2) Sarkar
