Do you like sequels to a particular movie, and if so, which ones?

well most people say the sequels are not as good as originals and i have found it to be true in some cases but i have also liked many movies which had sequels and i liked all the sequels.. the names being
hollywood:
1) Gods must be crazy
2) First blood
3) Rocky

Bollywood ( India)
1) Dhoom
2) Sarkar

I don't usually like sequels either but I do like heroes and star trek, I can hardly wait to see the new star trek movie that has just come out to where I can buy the DVD. It looks like it might be a good one. Now I did love to see I Love Lucy. She was funny. I did love twilight zone too. I do love heroes and did love to watch sliders. I am more of a mystery buff then funny shows. We can hardly wait for Mondays cause that is when heroes comes on TV.

I tend to be the same, I usually watch sequels with much trepedation as they are rarely as good as the first. X-Men definitely stands out as bucking the trend by having a sequel which is equal if not better than the first. But the sequel which I like the most is the Godfather Part II as it takes everything which was so great about the first Godfather movie and just builds upon it, giving plenty of back story as well as progressing the story down new avenues.

I agree with you some sequels suck. I have seen some that was better then the first one though. I like Aliens 2 and Terminator 2, to me they were a lot better than the first one.
