Do you/would you use Craigslist?

I used Craigslist once but no one ever bought what I was selling. I mentioned to my husband that we should have listed our sofa on Craigslist when we were trying to get a new one, but he was against it. He doesn't trust it or the people that you are giving your information to. We did eventually sell our sofa but it was by word of mouth. Someone my husband works with bought it in the end. Since then I've never had the desire to use it ever again. I think my husband is right. Nowadays it pays to be careful.

I look at Craigslist everyday for stuff I want. I have tried selling a stationary bike on Craigslist. Someone said they would buy it but they never showed up. It was really annoying. But that is a chance you take when buying/selling on there. For the most part people are honest. You just have to be careful and use your best judgement. Make sure you have someone else with you if you are picking something up or someone is coming to pick something of yours up. Just use your common sense.

I believe Craigslist can be a source of good. It is a way of finding local jobs in a tough economy (although you have to pay close attention to these ads!!!!). It is a way for pets to avoid the pound and possible euthanasia. It is a way for you to get rid of unwanted items or find others unwanted items (one persons junk is another persons treasure). It is a way to promote an event.

Craigslist has the potential to be great. You can't let a few bad apples spoil the fun.

I actually found great furniture on the site before.
I have a gf who use to find her one night stands on the site as well, matter-of-fact, she found her fiance' from the site as well as well as her new apartment:)

Hi, yes I do use Craigslist. I do place ads on it because it does reach so many viewers. I have used Craigslist to place my home for sale. And my husband is on it everyday, to see what kind of deals that he can find. I do get a lot of junk from it, but also some good responses regarding my home listing. And my husband has sold a few things on it. We have just been lucky so far, that we haven't ran across any weirdos or dangerous people. But, I guess you can run across bad people anywhere, not just on Craigslist. You just have to be extra careful.

Yes I use craiglist a lot. I have a site about wedding favos and I send ads to sell Wedding favors. I like craiglist.

I have relatives that use craigslist and they didn't have any problems with it. My uncle was on there lookin for a car and found one and had my mom n step dad go look at em for em. I guess t just depend. You just have to be careful at what you do and what not. Nothing is safe anymore!

I have used Craigslist with great success. I have many things on Craigslist. I have rented apartments and got information for a job and so on. It is not the site itself that is bad but some of the people who use it. Some of those people are on this site and others just waiting to take advantage of those who are weaker or too naive. Users need to take more responsibility for their own actions and stop being helpless victims.

I use Craigslist a lot for looking for a job or an apartment. It is also useful for buying things, like lift tickets for skiing. I got one lift ticket for more than 50% off of the price you pay at the ski resort! Overall it is a good site for finding stuff. However, I would not use it for online dating. I am not sure what kind of people use that site for finding dates and I don't think the quality of guys would be good.
