Children are very expensive. But it´s not a question of being affordable or not. I think that one discovers how to make ends meet. As for me, I wouldn´t have been able to afford NOT having children. Many times you can use imagination instead of money and it work. So then you can save a little for big problems.

I agree completely! You adjust your lifestyle to what you can afford. You dont try to find more money just to have things you dont need! Having children is a choice. With that choice comes many decisions, including what kind of car you will drive, if you will have digital cable, even how often you will eat at restaurants. With or without children, though, this is necessary! I dont have any children of my own, but like you I cant imagine going through my entire life and never having any!

happiness - life is meant to be happy.
I think it is hard to afford a family by a guy himself whenever or wherever he is living in.

I think it is hard to afford a family, but I am a single mother raising my child on one income. Housing and childcare take up the majority of my pay so I really struggle to afford anything else.
