I was diagnosed a few years ago with type 2 diabeties I have that pretty much under control with diet....Then 5 weeks ago I had to have my gull bladder removed as it was full of stones due to too much fat in my diet...
I'm pretty aware of the types of food I eat now low sugar content and low fat...Any suggestions?

I replace the bad fats, meat, dairy, etc. with good fats. The good fats are the omega's. They come from fish, avacado's, peanut butter, nuts. There are many good sources of omega3 fats. But omega3 must be balanced with omega6 which comes from plants (vegetables, fruits).
Have you heard of the impact of cinnamon on diabetes? Many diabetics that take a cinnamon supplement are able to get off of insulin all together.
Cinnamon balances the blood sugar, not too high, not too low. However it must be taken in a capsule form as there is a substance in the saliva that neutralizes in impact of cinnamon. I would look around for a good cinnamon supplement. It is not expensive.

Thank-you for your tips on the low fat and diabetic...So far I've done pretty good with the sugars as I'm just mainly on a diet no meds for it...I will keep the cinnamon in mind tho if I run into troubles!
