Bruins shutout?

I still have faith in the Bruins!! Or perhaps it is just hope. I am really a Flyers fan, but since they have been eliminated I have to cheer for someone else. My husband and I would both like to see the East win the Stanley Cup this year. We think the Bruins have the best chance of the remaining teams.

I havent watched either of the games, but based on the things I am hearing I might have to watch! I expected the Bruins to completely obliterate the Hurricanes in this match up!

i thought boston was going to win this series easily after game 1, but then they were a no-show last night for game 2. that game yesterday between the anaheim ducks and the detroit red wings was an instant classic wow what a back and forth game. detroit got the early lead when their played kicked the puck off of anm anaheim player and into the net on a power play, but give anaheim credit they bounced right back with 2 quick goals. detroit tied it and it was 2-2 after the first period and then anaheim scored in the 2nd to make it 3-2 and detroit scored in the 3rd to make it 3-3. detroit seemed to carry the play through both the 1st and 2nd overtimes and anaheim looked dead on their skates and i thought their only chance was at the beginning on the 3rd overtime and sure enough todd marchant the smallest member on their team beat chris osgood up high to win it 4-3 in triple overtime that's the kind of game the playoffs are all about can't wait till game 3. tonight is game 2 for washington and pittsburgh hope game 2 is as good as game 1 was.

Reality check time for the Bruins. They have been overrated most of the year and the first round made them believe it even more. Carolina looked bad in game one, but game two they showed up and Boston couldn't handle it. I actually never thought Bruins would win. Carolina has been scoring bout 4-5 a game and holding oppenents to 2-3. Bostons offense doesnt worry me as much as the other 3 eastern teams. Thomas also is a Hextall or Turco type goalie in that when he is hot he is one of the best, but when you get in his head and get him sidetracked he is a sieve. I think head to head Boston has a better defense, but Carolina has better goaltending and offense.
