Any recomended places to Visit in England?  | |  I live in West Midlands and have constunt urges to visit new places, Just get so bored of visiting the same places seeing same faces etc..
I like to go to pubs, anything music related (preferably rock music) and just having a laugh while meeting new people.
So places that land in those interests are what I am looking for. Although I don't actually drive my friend does and he likes the adventures just as much as me, as long as I pay half the petrol money lol
I really want to go places that people generally go to have a good time without it costing a hole in your pocket.

Have you thought of Bristol as a place to go for music? There's pretty countryside and towns around it though I have gone off the city itself now. Is do-able in a day from you.
Glasgow's a very vibrant city for music and one I have much pleasure in visiting. Lots of great places to eat and drink though it's the architecture that I love most.
The East is cool for riverside pubs and beer gardens and there are lots of festivals here at the moment. I'm a big fan of Norwich. Moving round the country, I realise that not everywhere has such pretty pubs with beer gardens as we do here.
The Brickmakers in Sprowston, on the outskirts is meant to be good for bands. Or the Junction at Cambridge?
