Looking Back at High School  | |  Around where I live it is getting to be the time of year that all of the schools are preparing for prom and graduation. It was always an exciting time in high school! Even now, it is fun for me to watch the girls find the perfect dress for their prom.
What amazes me, though, is how young everyone looks. I always thought I wouldnt be one of those people. I havent even been out of high school for 10 years yet, but all of the seniors just look so young to me!
It seems like little girls and boys are dressing up in fancy dresses and tuxes. Soon, little boys and girls will be wearing caps and gowns to cross the stage and get their diploma.
When I was in high school, I felt old as I was graduating. I realize now just how wrong I was! I am still young, but did I look that young when I graduated high school?

| | | 2. Shades48 (63) | 8 months ago |  The only good year of high school was grade 9. After that it was nothing but a complete joke. I wish I could of switched schools. I wasn't the popular one since I didn't go out and get messed up on drug and alcohol. I acted myself and maybe that was a big mistake. I can't believe it was only 2 years ago I graduated. the last month and a half was hell. I had this crush on a grade 9 girl, I couldn't take my eyes off her. She looked good on the outside, but was poison on the inside. The bloody b*tch told Mr. Vice principle that I sexually harassed her. I swear after all went down I never felt more depressed. Funny thing is I never did anything to her. Yes sure I glanced at her a couple times, since she was only a few lockers down. I said hello and good morning to her. I also knew people in grade 9 like my buddies sister. She was cool and a few other people that I already known. The VP thought it was weird I had friends in that grade. He thought it was weird that I liked her. The VP was just a plain idiot. Funny thing is I had to stay in the resource room for one of my lunch periods. Had to switch lockers. She followed me around around after. I had to spend the whole day in the VP's office pretty much getting yelled at. I lived the darkest days for that following 1.5 months. The piece of sh*t principle did nothing to help me out. I haven't even been back to visit now. Maybe around the end of June, I'll pop in and visit some of the few people that were good to me. Since I heard there's new VPs and Principle.
