Do you do body cleansings?

I have been reading into cleaning of the body but I am not talking about flushing the body..I was a bit over weight a few years ago and I decided to do a calorie count to help lose the weight which I was able to lose over sixty pounds in about eight months. I am alright with the weight that I am now, but I would still like to possibly lose a few more by August...I know that I can do a calorie count again but I was wondering about doing a cleansing such as just drinking more water...I have read that if I drink a bunch of water that even with the meals I eat it will help cleanse the food through the body and will help shed some pounds. I realize it won't shed them fast but i was just wondering if anyone has ever tried this and if it seemed to work at all?

Drinking more water will just not work as you describre. It will for the affects of feeling full = the intake of calories would by default decline. But adding more water to "your system" would add actual weight to you as human cells can on short time basis store "extra water" if your body can´t handle the extra water with basicly urine and sweat. the extra water would also add extra "hassle" to you life.
It´s basicly a water/salt thing...if your body/mind needs water is the balance of salt that is to high and vise vers...Basic rule for your commonman diet it´s to salty. The body actually needs some sort of salt.
99.99% the the body has got this figured out but sure you could have play around with this on a daily basis. Like a Wrestler or a Boxer does the day of the "weighin" and rehydriating before the fight.
So for the water issue. In your particular situation and day to day life id suppose if you have a big date in August you could do some watercutting. But in reallity you would not even get there becouse the first time you acctually watercut is described as "worst day of my life" kinda thing. And always horrible even if tou do it on a semiregular basis.
So if the boxer is doing some "dating" before the fight he is always rehydrated :)
So i can´t see how water would work in you situation....
