This is a Question that I have been wondering about for a little while. What do you consider to be a friend on mylot? When accepting someone as a friend are you just saying that you will reply to their discussions when you can, or is there a whole lot more to it? I have accepted friends since I have joined and I know that I have lost a lot of them to. At first when I joined I didn't take a lot of time to look at my E-mails. Since then I have learned to check it every day. I don't do private chats, and I don't talk much on the phone to anyone.
So I guess what I'm asking is what do you expect from a mylot friend? Should I even be accepting friends if all I can do in join in discussions?

Well the first thing that I expect is for that friend to share some things with me about his or her life. Even if it's just mylot information. It can be as broad or as basic as they'd like to get. In other words I would like to know a little something about the person and not just have them down as a passive friend. Then I would hope that they will read some of my discussions and I would read some of theirs and we would respond to each others post. If it goes on any further from there than that would be left up to you and friend to make it happen but generally speaking I don't ever think that I will meet any of my online friends in person. Not that I wouldn't want to but I just do see how it's possible and if not, I can always wish them well on holidays and birthdays b/c it's our thoughts and intentions that matter most. Not so much having to be there sharing face to face. Now if it's somebody that I think of more than a friend, then that's anther story for another day of posting, lols. Be blessed friend.

What you said makes since. I didn't want anyone to get offended by me not responding with then, other than on mylot. I enjoy being on mylot and joining in on discussion with friends, but unlike some on here I like to discuss thinks with other members as well.
