Does slicing onions makes you cry?  |

 In cooking we use a lot of ingredients.... And one of those is ONION! im very fascinated when people slice onion in a fast manner.... and by doing that fast they dont get teary eyes..... but me, im not a fast slicer thats why i always cry when i slice the onions... do cry also when you slice the onion? what can i do so i wont cry when im slicing the onion?

and u can also freeze them before chopping.

When I have onions I feel I can live for ever. I know it’s silly, but I can not stop thinking onion and mushroom like that. The problem is every time I cut onions I have tears. It’s very uncomfortable.
I watched a program talking about it. It said the smell of onions spread by air and hurt our eyes. The way to stop it is to have a candle on when you cut onions. I don’t know it works or not. I have never tried it.
I think I will buy a food processor soon to help me with the onion problem.
