A father has a lot of responsibilities to perform for his children. He should give them proper education, get them admission in a good institution, monitor them closely, marry them to suitable brides, look after their children etc. Therefore there is no end to a good father's responsobilities. What do you think?

I am thinking on a more basic level. It is the fathers responsibility to hold his baby in a way that does not seem like he does not want to be around his child. It is the father's responsibility to read bed time stories half the time, to encourage his children to become good people, and be a role model to show them how a man is supposed to act. It is his job to willingly and happily pay child support if he is not married to the mother. It is his job to show up to school plays and help with homework. It is his job to tell his daughteres that they are beautiful and that they should be choosy about the boys they like; and to teach his sons how to treat women in a kind and respectful manner and that being a man does not have anything to do with strength but everything to do with actions and thoughts. I could go on and on, this is a soap box for me, thank you for the space to share.
