Jesus Says Watch What You Eat

After enjoying a scenic boating on the lake, Jesus told his disciples: "Don't eat sandwiches puffed up with Pharisaical yeast." The disciples thought he was talking about real bread because they didn't bring any. Later, after scolding them for misreading his sandwich principle, they realized he was really talking about Pharisaical or religious teaching, not bread. Today, we misread the Lord's prayer about "Give us this day our daily bread," like the disciples did. We think it's about asking God for physical food or money. That's what we've been told in church by religious people. Jesus said, misreading messed up his words like this because of "so little faith" in what he was capable of. More than anything else, we should eat Jesus' spiritual daily bread. Doing so will make us so radical with our faith and life like Jesus. No more religious teachings and ways. You become what you eat. You eat his bread daily, you'll become like Jesus.
