File a complaint?

Had anyone ever filed a complaint against your supervisor? Does the human resource personnel accept your complaint, and did they do anything about it? Or they simply deny what you complained about?
A former employee filed a complaint against the supervisor, but it seems didn't work. He just left, and get a new job.

I have not filed a complaint though I've inquired in with the states EEOC about my situation. Of course I need proof and how can one show proof that you were being discriminated against because you were pregnant if they didn't come out and say it. Same with my maternity leave they forced me to come back at exactly 6 weeks or they were going to let me go. Now if I had a c-sect that's a mandatory 8 weeks off but because we didn't have over so many employees that action would be considered legal
