Okay, if anyone had worked for Human Resource department or so, can give me some insight about how the complaint procedure done. Hypothetically, if you want to file a complaint against somebody. Normally, you go to the human resource department to tell your version of story why you want to file a complaint against particular person in your work. After they accept your complaint statement, what is next? Can someone tell me. How they gonna determine whether your complaint is legit or not? And what they going to do if they accept it?

I have worked in HR for 8 years now. You question is hard to answer because ultimatley it depends on your company's policies. An open door policy means that you can make a complaint without the fear of being retaliated against. Usually in my experience, if a complaint is made. there is a special department within the HR department that investigates the complain. They will talk wth any witnesses and the make a dtermination. What they do if they find that your complaint is valid, depends on the seriousness of the violation the other person has made. However, if you have an open door policy and they do not find your complaint valid you should be assured that nothing will be said to you or affect your job. If I were you before you make the complaint, I would go to your human resources department and find out how your company handles complaints and what the specific procedures are. What you say can be held in confidence.
