Are you a Trekkie/ Trekker? Have you seen all the films? Are you going to see the new film? Me, I saw the orihinal series in reruns and a few of The Next Generation . I saw the first 6 films. I call myself a Trekkie.I still think the best Star Trek Movie was Start Trek 2. my order of favorites is 2, 4, 3, 5, 6, and then 1.Do you have a favorite?

The first Star Trek movie is the weakest of them . Have you ever seen the original Star Trek series? If so, do remember the episode with Khan, the syuper human? If so, You can start with Star Trek @. @ will get you ready for 3, the sequel. All the others are separate tales and you can see them in any order . But you Have to see 2 before you see 3. They all should be on Dvd by now, rent them and come back and tell mewhat you think.

Oops. I was wrong, you should see 2,3, and then 4 back to back. The others are separate.

Hey I have seen the original one but that was like when I was a kid. And they rerun those serials just for a couple of weeks, so could see the khan's serial. But thanks. I think I will see the 2,3 and 4 back to back. These are of the earlier generation or the next generation. I remember this one movie Star Movies showed of Gen Next. How many are there any ways.

I love Star Trek - the original series... I was in love with Capt Kirk!! well.. every other week - on the other weeks, I was in love with Scotty! But those were the best. I don't watch any of the spin offs... just to alien for me! The only Star Trek movies of the 7 or 8 they have made, I really liked the one IV I think it was.. where they had to go b ack in time to earth to get a humpback whale to save the galaxy! That one was really cool and alot of fun to watch!

No, I don't think I'll see it. I am to sentimental! Capt Kirk is William Shatner is Capt Kirk! To give the character another face.... is just like sacraligious! LOL! I think sometimes they go to far with movies and ruin where they came from... granted, again, probably to much sentiment, but that's me. Kind of like when they did Gone with the Wind and then in the what, 80's 90's.. they did the sequal of "Scarlett" - the story Margaret Mitchell wrote after GWTW.... It just made thos characters as we knew themfrom GWTW look stupid and not at all like they were in GWTW. They acted like the war never happened to either of them and didn't change them in anyway and they were now just happy go lucky people! So I'll just stick with my memories on Star Trek... maybe when it comes out on rental DVD I might give it a shot, but I can turn it off anytime then!

I am not a Trekkie, but my husband is. On Labour Day they ran a marathon of the dang movies on Space Network, so I spent the weekend at the coffee shop. LOL I did manage to tear him away from the TV on Sunday, which was our anniversary, to go out for lunch, and to listen to our favourite radio show where my friend, the host, dedicated a song to us. Good thing he's seen 'em all before. LOL I need to get him all the DVDs and some headphones, so he can watch them when he wants. LOL

That would be great! You have just enough time to causally ask which is his favorite and get it for Christmas.

Ive only seen a few of the star wars movies. But I do plan on watching all of them since I like star wars. Still have to see the first ones but I heard most of them were good its rare that a series of 10 movies can be so well even the 10th movie since most movies end up sucking later on.

i'm not really a Star Trek fan although i did watch some of their series when it was airing on tv when i was younger. i did watch the new Star Trek movie though, and i have to say that it was pretty good. i quite enjoyed it considering that i'm not such a huge fan of sci-fi movies hehe..

I don't know if I could really be considered a Trekkie, but I do enjoy Star Trek though. But believe it or not, I really don't think I have seen any of the movies in entirety. Not one whatsoever! I probably should watch the movies sometimes as far as actually watching the entire movies go. I have been wanting to see the newest Star Trek movie that is about the characters from the original series during their early days. So I guess that's as good a place as any.

The only reason I got into the movies was because I saw the end of Star Trek 2 and I Had to see 3. I liked the storyline of 4.I can't remember why I saw 5 and 6 has a nice twist. I am being fague so you can still see the films. Suggestion. rent Star Trek 2.It is the best of the first 6. Come back and tell me what you think.
