In the busy life in todays world people have a tendency to forget to wish their loved ones on their birthdays anniversaries .The dependencies on the computer reminders and cellphone reminders is the only way one remebers these things but I have observed when these occassions fall on a sunday aor saturday we have no clue because we were away from these gadgets and the loved one may feel really bad on this. It has happened with me a couple of times when I have forgotten and a few times when others have forgotten for me. Now I have started a new practice. If I am expecting someone to wish me and I know I will feel bad if He/she does not ring up and also that he/she will also feel bad that he has not been able to wish me on time , I give the person a call myself and say that I want your good wishes and therefore I rang up please bless me . It saves lot of heart burn and I get my wishes also !Personnlay I will try to be more alert on whishing others on time !

Regarding my loved ones, I don’t know the date of birth of my parents coz they never felt like sharing it with me. I used to wish them on their anniversary but now the situation is not very conducive to celebrations. I take flowers on New Years Day and cakes on Christmas but no personal wishes. Regarding my hubby, he is not forthcoming with such things and we never wish each other on our birthdays of anniversaries…its like any other day. Now my son is there and he would be 10 this July so his special day is always there for wishes and gifts and celebrations.
