|  Hi guys,I would like to ask if you have experienced on not passing an entrance exam?What did you feel?
Have you tried having the feeling that they made the wrong decision in not making you pass?
What did your parents say?
Have you tried having the feeling that you should and deserve to be one of the passing students?
I was taking an entrance exam(for my college)last april and the results for the lucky students who passed for the interview was posted last week (and i was one of the students).After my interview the professor told me that I should be back on Monday(and thats today)so that I would know if I pass or not.But unluckily,I wasn't.When I didn't see my name,I didn't feel anything.Like I was a robot,I didn't fee such emotion,like something is telling me inside that its fine.
After reviewing the posted results I approach the professor who was assigned and asked if I can still be able to enroll.And he said no,he said I should try coming back on Monday to see if I can replace a passing student that will not show up this week.And after that moment I went out the room having a mixed emotion.
I felt happy and at the same time sad and excited.When I walk at a distance I realized that my parents would be disappointed of me.Of why I didn't pass the school.From that moment I felt pain and I started crying (though Im trying to hold back my tears for there are many students around)I felt the pain and the disappointment my parents would feel.I started walking fast and went down to the ground floor to go home.
As of the moment,I mean right now (while im typing)my parents are not okay with the results though they understand the situation.Anyways they cant blame me,I was the #27th in the ranking out of 389 students.
Now,im calm and feeling fine,although not totally fine.Im going to take another test on Wednesday,and this time im taking paramedics.I think the feeling I felt was pointing to this course.Maybe it was saying that i should feel okay/fine because I still have another chance.Ill be posting my results on Friday.I hope this time it will be a victory.

| |  Heya Sagapo. Firstly I'd like to congratulate you on clearing your first round and on achieving rank #27! That's great! As for the interview part, don't worry about that ;)
Every one of us who sat for more than 1 entrance exam have not been able to clear at least one. It's just the way things work. Sometimes it's knowledge and sometimes it's luck, but that never means you should give up. I know it's hurtful when you try so hard and really want to succeed in what you were trying for, but yea...the cruel reality is that bad things do happen :(
I would suggest you not to worry and even if your parents are upset, tell them you did your best (if you did!) and that you will keep trying and will not give up! Why, you might even get a better place! Remember, we cannot always get what we exactly want, but we can get something close it, which will eventually lead us to what we exactly wanted to begin with and even more.

| | No worries, you're welcome! As long as you keep working hard for what you want, you will get it! Trust me, I've been in your place once and I do know it's painful, but just don't give up, keep trying and you will definitely get to the top! I don't know if you've heard this saying or not, "You learn more from failures than you do from successes."

| |  What a sad discussion you have started I had forgotten all my past days but this discussion again force me to remember everything, after my 12 th I had given engineering entrance exam with my girl friend and I did not get clear that exam but my girl friend got passed so my parents blame her that just because of her I did not get pass and by the way only that failure totally changed my life and my career now I have planned to become a very successfull person soon in my life so that all my past failure will be covered in that success

| |  I have failed two times already in an entrance exam. The first one was when I transferred school when I was an incoming first year high school student. I already forgot my rank but all I know I did not pass it. The second one is when I transferred again when I was an incoming first year college student. The are two entrance exams on that school, I passed the first exam with not so high score but the second test I didn't fail. My score there was 23/40. So because there are so many that got higher scores than me, I had a 50/50 chance of enrolling to that school. It's a good thing that some of the students backed out so I did had the chance to enroll to that school.
