Is this allowed here ????

Well I am not too sure about the technicalities.......but am I allowed to log in to some other computer say my Library computer......or a cybercafe to respond to discussions and comments....... Well there are many PTC sites which don't allow you to log in from public computer......in short they want you to use your account from the same IP address that you used while registering..... Is this the same case here or we can use it from any where......please help mylotters....

You can use whatever computer when logging into myLot just make sure that you sign out after so that you won't put your account in danger - some dude might see that you left your account online and decided to post responses that violate discussion rules, then you'd end up having your posts deleted or worse!! you might get your account suspended :) Just be careful. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I very often use the computer from work to be here on the Lot. There are no restrictions at all (thank goodness) about using different computers for accessing myLot.

I had to go out of town for awhile and took my computer with, still it was a different IP address that I was working from and didn't have any problems here. So I would also agree that it shouldn't matter where you log in at, just so it is your account that your working from.

I have dynamic ip internet connection. Anytime i connect to the internet, my ip changes. I never encountering any problem with my lot regarding my dynamic ip. I believe that mylot is focus on our post's quality, not where are we come from nor connected from. As long as you don't make great violation the guidelines and rules, i think there's no reason to afraid being blocked. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
