Saving Money with Coupons  

Thanks for posting those sites! I have been looking for good coupon sites for a while! I don't typically read the sunday paper - I usually watch the news or read it online (I hate wasting paper!) But sadly, for a while, this meant I was missing out on cutting coupons each week!

I am very frugal, I love clipping coupons, it saves me so much money each week!

I saw the coupon for the barbeque sauce this week, and guess what! It's on sale here too! I think I am going to have to stock up!

Last week, they had a sale on YoPlus and FiberOne yogurts. Instead of 2.50 each, they were marked down to 2.00. I had a few coupons from the manufacturer, and a few from sites that I use for a dollar off each. This was quite a steal! But I am not done yet! The supermarket put "$1.00 coupon doublers" in the circular for that week - 4 of them, and half of the neighbors just threw their circulars on the floor in the hallway, so needless to say, last week I made off with TONS of free yogurt and lots of groceries for 35 bucks.

I use two sites to get my coupons, mostly. One of them is a paid to click site that I am absolutely addicted to. They pay with no minimum cashout and it goes directly into your paypal account. For each coupon printed and used for this site, they award you one cent. The other site I use is a paid to click site that awards points that can be redeemed for gift certificates. It only takes about 1400 points to get a gift card for ten dollars (my first one was a cvs giftcard) and they send you about 5 paid to click emails a day worth 5 points each. You earn points per dollar for shopping online, too. You have the option of printing coupons from there, and for each one redeemed they credit your account with ten points.

I'd have to agree with the tip about only clipping coupons for what you believe will be used. Otherwise, you just waste so much time clipping coupons. I've gotten in the habit of looking over the coupons first to see what could be useful. Then, after I check them, I wait a few hours until I'm not so busy to clip the coupons. It gives me time to think about what I saw and to decide on what I can use and what I'll never use. It saves me a lot of time.

Well you can save some money by using the coupons and printing them out via online and you can also at the same time help yourself in another way. If you join mypoints.com and get into there coupon program every coupon you use every month adds up and you get points for them. I make about 2000 points a year in coupon points. which means about $50 worth of Walmart gift cards. So all in all I make gift cards and save cash at the store.

I save about $70 to $100 a week on our grocery bill just from using coupons. So I make sure to use mypoints every week to help out with some of my coupons.
