Help! Need Gift Ideas for Mom to Be ~ Shower is next week.  |

|  A new baby is about to arrive. The baby shower is next week.
I need help, please my fellow MyLot members.
I have no idea what to get.
I am thinking a nice facial scrub with perhaps a relaxing bath gel, like Pine.
Baby books so the Mom can read stories to her baby or a Baby book but
Not just any baby book as I am almost positive she will receive at least a few.
I heard of a Hallmark baby book that stories can be added to, a Story baby Book.
Has anyone heard of these?
What other ideas can you please share with me?

Yes, first baby and young working couple that, sure, they have needs. A very supportive family who are not hurting for cash necessarily either.
I like the idea of the hard cover books and the reasons therefore, good idea. Thank you!

| |  I just had my baby shower on last month and i got some great gifts heres 3 top gift ideas i really enjoyed myself....
Koala Baby Imrpints memory Book.- This is from Babies R Us and i have already been able to fill has of it out. Its one of the best baby books i came across and Im so glad i received it.
Earth Mama Angel baby Postpartum bath herbs- This is for the bath tub for mom. Its basically an herbal bubble bath and come with different feet relaxing formulas for tired feet and whatnot. I love it so much.
Leacho Snoogle Mini- Compact side sleeper- This is my favorite! Being so uncomfortable while sleeping i found this very useful. Its just an S shaped pillow basically that i can lay my head on and than it goes in between my knees. Its very restful. I don't know what i would do without it.

I like the ideas that you have mentioned.
This is perfect.
I like the bath and pillow idea but the book too. The only thing with the book is that I think she will already be getting a number of them.
I should ask everyone in the family if anyone is getting her a baby book.
I think I am going to sus out the pillow idea.

| |  Why dont you buy some flute music dvds to her? It gives relaxation to her heart and her new born baby. Search for "how to name it" album,which was composed by the great Indian Music director Ilayaraja.

| |  Do you know if the baby is going to be a boy or a girl? If so you could buy an outfit or two accordingly or if you don't know you could always get neutral colors. You could put together a gift basket of baby wash, rubber duckies for the tub, baby oil, moisturizer for baby, baby wash cloths and towels, baby powder, etc. Books, toys, a mobile for the crib, a baby blanket, or receiving blankets are also a nice gift idea for an expectant mother

| | Yes we know it is going to be a girl. I had already thought of baby cloths. Good idea. She already has a ton but I think a gift basket for her and the baby will be in the works.

| | Yes! They sure did, thank you. Instead of a basket though, I am getting a baby bathing basin. The good ones that are formed to let the baby sit up and a place for the little legs to go over, supporting the "V" under the knees. It has indents on the bottom to go over the kitchen sink. Excited.
