Awakening

I have heard a lot on this over the last few years. And now I have been reading a book called Ectasy in everyday life. There is a certain exerpt that highlights many different ways people may experiance this. One really stuck out to me and its on a mystical and deep understanding level. It talked about when you understand the entire world as patters and networks that entertwine in all ways in a very simple, Yet Complex way. I completely have had this understanding for the last year. It is really strong and a bit eerie at times, especial when I am walking in a trail in heavy wooded areas. But I love the outdoors and nature and have all my life. So I believe its always been there for me to understand, I just can "hear" it now.
So my question for "mylotter" friends, what is your experiance or thoughts on this?
