Sometimes selling cooked lobsters are a good idea. I do it all the time.

Here's how you do it:
There are 3 ways....
1. Go to Karajama, have an axe, and a tinderbox, and 30 gold.
Also have a lobster pot with you, so you can fish it.
Cut down the couple trees that are at the front near the dock, and take them to the water and fish em out, and then cook them with the fire, then it costs nothing, and do that banana quest for the guy on the island to get back, with 30 coins.

2. This one gives you discounts...
Go to Karajama with all your money
Buy cooked lobsters for a reasonable amount, and fill your inventory
Go back to the mainland, and sell the lobsters for a good profit. People WILL buy.

3. Almost the same as option 2, except...
stay on the mainland, buy the lobsters for cheaper than you sell
Its #2 on the mainland

picking up flax and making bow string out of it and selling it on the grand exchange brings in some good money. catching lobsters in catherby is good too since the bank is nearby. making yes long bows and high alchemying them is great as well but requires high levels in fletching and magic. craft natures runes, but i have never tried that myself.

When I played the game I killed the caged blue dragon over and over and sold the hide and bones for quite a bit of cash. I think I acquired all of my dragon weps and Abyssal Whip this way with still quite a lot of gp left over. I also got my runecrafting up and made tons of air runes since they are used quite a bit and fairly easy to make, especially large batches. These techniques could be outdated though as I haven't played in years. Now I'm kind of interested in checking it out again.

Hiya Fello Runescape Player...One way to make alot of money is:
1. Get heaps of games necklaces, food, good weapon and armour and maybe a familiar that can hold stuff (Red Bull Ant required mostly) and tele to Clan wars go east from clan wars to the Green Dragons!! each invo u get is 40k (alot of money) and also u can get rune daggers, runes, gems and other stuff.
2. Buy heaps of flax then go to lumbridge and spin it on the spinning wheel (takes along time but worth it) and also dont go to Seer`s Village one because it isnt good.
3. You will need heaps of pineapples (you can get some from the seller in the port near Camelot) and a knife. Cut the pineapples into pineapple rings which then gives u 3.5 X the money u bought them for which is very good money.
4. You will need an axe (Rune Or Dragon, Recommended Dragon) and thats it! Go to Seer`s village and cut yews in the graveyard or the ones near the beehives/flax or if you have high woodcutting cut Magics!5. You will need at least 15 farming and marigold seeds. All you have to do is plant the marigold seeds (use super compost) u get 1 each time and it only takes 15 mins to grow and they are worth 3k each which is good if ur not doing anything.
