Im planning to resign at my present job because for basic reason that i dont get the compensation that im getting before. And i can't afford to lose my commission because it helps me to cover all my expenses. But since our comapany is a small one, we become not boss or employees but as family. so its hard for us to file our resignation. But i need to look for another or else i will be in deep trouble again.

I would make sure you have another job lined up before you quit your current job! Some income is better than no income!
When you do find another job, tell your boss that someone has offered you something better. You would love to stay and work where you are now, but you need the money. Tell them that you will stay if they can pay you the same amount that someone else is offering you. That way you arent just abandoning them. You are giving them an option.
If they really are like family, they will understand that you have to do what is best for you!
Good luck!
