I used to get my hair cut and colored every six weeks. We came up on some financially challenging times, so I haven't had either done in a year. I am about to start going back to getting it done, though. I'll probably aim for every six weeks again, but I'll only get it cut. I won't get color done because that is so expensive. I don't really*need* color anyways, it's just fun.

| | 3.  turones (187) | 6 months ago |  I don't go to the salon often to get my hair done. I just visit for a trim every three to four months to keep split ends away. I have naturally curly hair and I just use a hair straightening iron to get rid of the frizzy and "big and heavy" look. I usually spend an hour a day just to straighten my hair. Time spent drying it is not included.:)
