Water, water, everywhere water. Know it, embrace it, manage it, or drown. Same goes for cars, trucks, chainsaws, knives, crowbars, blowtorches, and guns. Based on the inept, clumsy, irresponsible failure of brain-dead, uncoordinated numbnuts, I will not be denied the pragmatic, functional utility of anything.
I will not drown, nor will I drink and drive, chainsaw-massacre anyone, stumble, slice, burn, or shoot myself, nor will I ever hold up a bank. So the best advice would be to think, improvise, adapt, and overcome, man up, but by all means, leave me the hell alone. You don't ban electric guitars just because someone may have a lapse in logic, goodwill, and decency and spontaneously break out into country and western music. The vast majority of sensible people will use electric guitars as God intended and whip out good, sexy rock-n-roll licks.
I need my water, cars, trucks, chainsaws, knives, crowbars, blowtorches, and guns. I have mastered them all; they are all wonderful ingredients for my American Dream of rugged individualism, declared independence, and self-sufficiency. They all serve me well, and I am not giving any of them up. Ever.
The masses must never be controlled for the sake of the lunatic fringe. Remember "Don't Tread on Me"? Don't.

| |  The constitution gives us the right to bare arms. It is also a responsibility to learn to do it correctly and with respect to life and property. I may not have used a gun in several years but I have not forgotten how and can hit what I am at. I have and will continue to take corses on safety with my grandchildren as I did with my children and will teach them responsibility with weapons and other things in life.
I will do my best to teach them respect for themseves and others, love for God and Country, and the world as a whole.
I guess the term I would use would be "cowboy up" and "stand for what is right".
I also need my water, car, truck, chainsaw, knives, crowbars, and guns. I live in the USA and have the right to have my needs met and will tke the responsibility to use my tools as they were meant to be used. I will protect my children and my grandchildren to the best of my ability, and if attacked I will defend myself, if this cost me my life then I pray I take the other guy with me when I go, and if there is more than one I will take as many as I can, that means using the brain that God gave me and working smart not hard when possible.

| |  All you have to do is look to Australia to see how well gun control works. They started nationwide gin control a years ago. It was going to curb crime and reduce murder. Crime is up 20% and the politicians can not figure out why. They took the guns away from the law abiding citizens and still crime is going up. Almost every city where there is a gun ban the crime rate is higher.

| |  I am not really gonna say alot about this subject, except this one thing. First 'they' wanted to ban guns because 'guns were bad' that is when we decided that --- guns didn't kill people - people kill people --- that's all i gotta say! no matter what you do there is gonnna be so nut doing some kind of killin' with a gun or somethin' else. if they wanna kill they will find a way. Crime is a state of the time and a reflection of being poor.
