Why do children like Chocolate the most?

My children are just crazy about eating chocolates and i usually warn them of dental caries, still wondering why is it they are more fond of it than the elders?

Probably because when you are a kid all your senses are at its peak, how many times do you hear older people say things don't taste the same as whe they were young, I think our taste senses change as we get older but I love chocolate too so that part hasn't changed for me.
