Have you seen the new look of Blogspot's Followers widget?

Blogspot's Followers widget - Blogspot updated their Follower's widget and is not expanded to accommodate a larger number of Followers.

I was surprised when I opened my site today:) I saw my Followers widget:D It mainly looks the same, only that it is expanded to accommodate the number of followers - so this time, the followers are more visible. I just can't imagine how it looks like for those sites that has more than a hundred followers.... I guess they have a size limit. If that's the case then I hope they could make an update that would refresh the displayed followers so that each would be exposed somewhat with the same frequency:) (I actually wanted that feature for a long time). So have you seen it? How do you like it?If you want to see it in my site then the link is: http://www.thingswelovetohate.com it's very visible, on the top right panel, you can't miss it.

No, it's not. The Twitter widget shows the recent tweets you made. The Follower widget shows avatars, linked to a Blogger's profile that decided to Follow your blog's updates :)

You have me thinking about this feature and how to use it to the best of my abilities to get the full potential and power from such a program. I should tinker around to figure out how I can get the most benefit from this add-on. I've known about it for a while but now I'm thinking it could be really handy... That is if it does what I think it will do.

It simply makes it easier for people to follow updates on your blogs - new posts you've made, etc. Also, it is viewable to the public (which is also optional for followers) to show how well your readers like your stuff :D I never thought I'd get as much Followers. I'm really happy that they Follow without asking for me to Follow them as well even though I make it a point that I visit all of my Followers' blogs at least once a week and comment back on them for the new posts they've made :)

Hi Oyenkai, Thank you for the BR I had forgotten about this conversation and after not getting on line yesterday to update my life and writings which is what we do here at MyLot as we process our thoughts with our friends especially those who we are following through being notified when they present themselves with attention getting and attention grabbing technologies. We use all the tools of the trade in communicating. I have been slow in progressing with the work I have already put into my blogs and writings. At this moment I am listening to Radio Times about a Nigerian immigrant who was studying medicine and became a writer. 6-18-09 at 11:00 AM right now I see it is 11:25. I have a lot of thoughts to share and my thoughts are framed around the writings that I wish to share and the information that I take in. I have much to add... My purpose today is to write a post in my Blog about Current Events and what is going on in our world this week. Hmmm? Thank you, Peace and Blessings, Sincerely, Gary

I just signed in to follow your blog and I find that tool or widget as it is called is very interesting and powerful. You get options to follow publicly or privately I chose to follow publicly. What an interesting tool this technology provides so much to help each other, I am in awe... Now what is going on in our world this week... and of course that court order...
