Do super hero flicks justify the comic book(s)??

OMG finally someone that sees it other than my self. I am so sick of watching a movie based on a comic book and saying thats not how that happened or what are they doing they cant have that character here yet they have not even met till later. How ever I do think they are good movies but I am such a critic. I just wish one time they would stick to the actual comic book you know. Tell the story like it really is.

I totally agree. I love movies based on comic books, but they change a lot of stuff. Really they do it so that they can fit a storyline into a film, as many in comic books are so complicated it'd take too long to tell it! Like Wolverine - they changed the Weapon X story a hell of a lot, to make it fit into a single movie and appeal to a more mainstream audience than just comic book fans.

No they do not but they don't have too. They know the fanboys who already read the books are going to show. But why would they make the movie the exact same way? If people won't read the comic then they won't see the movie. Thats why they change it up to make it more appealing to non comic readers. And usually its a success.
