Good Morning, I'm here, just barely. MSN is being a complete butt. I've lost connection a few times already. Plus I forgot to snag more allergy meds last night so I'm a little sneezy this morning. But I do finally have little flowers on my cucumber plants!!!!!! Yes, I know, most people don't get so stirred up over their gardens. Just be glad you don't see me doing my little happy dance in the midst of the yard, lol. People driving past probably think I am dodging bees. We have more rain coming in this afternoon so no I still won't have to water the garden. And guess whom has been married forever as of Saturday? Lol. It's rare that our anniversary falls on a weekend, much less a long weekend, woohoo! Okay, so 18 years isn't forever. But remember, we've been together longer than that. Wow, where did the time go? We must be doing something right. Remember, we have been together 24/7 for 7 years now. Yes, I am insane thank you very much. Okay, let me go blow my little nose again. Hugs, LLA

I get all excited watching my garden plants grow too! I can just imagine how tasty the produce will be! Congrats on 18 years! You are right, it may not be forever, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt celebrate! In an age of constant divorces, it is nice to hear about people who are still married and going strong! My husband and I will be celebrating 2 years in less than two weeks. It feels like only yesterday we got married! I wish we could spend 24/7 together. Maybe someday! Enjoy your anniversary!

Hi Sweetie, You must understand, up until last year all I could grow were cacti. So the fact that I can grow things at all just astounds me. There are squash blossoms everywhere. The bell peppers have just one or two flowers. I can't wait. I also planted blueberries so in a few years I will have those as well. I love them. Being together 24/7 isn't easy. See, we work together. We don't always agree. For the most part we do though. We just took over the family business a few years ago. Prior to that his dad was the boss. That was quite difficult. We are complete opposites. Every other sentence out of his mouth is negative. Many times I would have to go clear across the building to get away from him. There were a few times I was upset enough I would literally be sick to my stomach. He still pops by a few times a week to drive us insane. It is so much nicer now that it is just the two of us. Thing is, no sick leave. And we have to pay all the bills. Maybe this economy will pick up and we will be able to some day afford a vacation. So you are still newly weds at heart. That is precious. Hold on to that sweetie. Blessings

Hi Cream97, Actually, that is an older post. We've been married 20 years as of today. So, your warm wishes are right on time thank you. It's hard to celebrate in the middle of the week so we will take advantage of the long weekend. We are planning on a picnic if the weather cooperates. As far as my garden, this year it is doing amazingly well. We now have squash, which I've already begun harvesting, tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, blueberries, sweet potatoes, potatoes, peaches, peppers and corn. We planted a plum tree this year. We need to get another and plant, maybe this weekend, in order for them to produce. Next year we hope to add some pear trees. I also have a few herbs growing, sage, rosemary and thyme. I planted catnip last year for my kitties and it's almost as tall as I am. Thank you again.
