Anyone like bass fishing?  | | | |  I like bass fishing, there is a pond just down the hill from my house. I like bass fishing because you have to be active, and bass can be fierce fighters.What is you favorite kind of bass? Where do you fish? How often?

| |  i live on a lagoon that goes into the gulf of mexico so i fish every day, every day. not to many fresh water fish but their are large mouth in the lilly pads during the rainy season and they put up with salty water. there's a lock that leads to the gulf so when it rains it makes the water brackish 1/2 fresh 1/2 salt and they manage to live their more or less land locked in the lagoon unless they can find their way thru 5 miles of lagoon and out the lock, when its open to let the boat out. i use top water plugs, only because if something hit's a top water you know you have a good size fish. when i go to lake okeechobee i use spinner bait's for the 8 pounders and 12-20 pound alligator gars now thats a fighing fish. find yourself a cheap fly rod and catch a few bass on that baby that'll wake ya up..... hey good fishin bud.

| | Wow nice. I haven't caught a bass that is more than like 3 pound. I usually use my popper. I don't have as many tackle and stuff like you see people have like a full suitcase full of lures. Anyways I fish at a clear lake in the Karoo, I'm also thinking of using crickets for bait, because the water is so clear. The pond down my house is not big, its not even an acre, but I caught some fish in there. Aww well good luck and keep fishin'! | | | |

| | do you have " hula poppers " down south ???? their the ones with the litle skirt around them, they work great bring up the hawg's from the bottem i had to order mine online. im 1 of those guys that see a new lure or popper and say's " hey i'd bite that" and the next thing ya know im out the door with 1 in the shopping bag. look up "boca grand pass" thats where i fish tarpon territory. there;s a video on youtube with a hammerhead biting a 200 pound tarpon in half, "hammerhead and tarpon" i have yet to catch a tarpon but not from not being out their 3 times a week trying, ah 1 day i'll get a 200 pounder, then have a heart attack, fall off my boat , and land on the hammerhead. | | | | | | | European Nightcrawlers We have info on super red worms Great for composting and bait!
