Well, there are times when our superiors offend us and we build great rage against them. But we will not be in a position to punish them or take revenge against them. So,we end in mental torture and stress. At times like this,we shall forgive them in volunteer and move on.That is good for our health.Agreed?

Holding grudges against anyone, whether they are older or younger than us, is not good for our health in my opinion. I have often said 'yes, ok' while wearing a smile when a situation could not be changed. If nothing will change it then it's best just to move on rather than thinking about it and letting it get inside us and cause problems.

Well said!We should not keep it in our mind and build rage on them.We cannot change the situation and at the same time, that mental worries will kill us.So,forgetting would be more right word than forgiving.Cheers!

No, I dont' agree. There is a hindi poetry which says: "Kshama Shobhati us bhujang ko jiske paas garal ho!" Means that if you don't have power to punish your enemies then you can't forgive that person. You must remember the pain and the problem which they created for you and you went through tough patch of time. Only that can make you stronger.

Surely we are also told that two wrongs don't make a right?
