Love my Youtube and my husband has an ipod

I am considering getting an ipod, either by just shopping at Zellers and Home Outfitters or using the airmiles points that I had saved up for a trip which it looks like we will be unable to take. Or I could save up for one after I bought the Mac.
Now I also love Youtube. I am a classical music and opera fan. And I want to watch those Youtubes I downloaded.
So the question is how do I do it other then keep them on my flash drive and see them on someone else's computer (that is if I am going someplace.)
Is there a way to show the Youtube videos I showed on an ipod and how do I do it?
Directions for the Mac and the Pc please. Thanks.

Afraid I'm no help at all on this one - no experience with any of that stuff. Gee I'm behind the times I still watch VHS movies. My son had an ipod (think it got broken) but he's not home or I'd ask him - he knows all that stuff.

I have the ipod touch and it alraday has youtube on it. It also has the internet but you have to have wifi to get it. You can't go outised and use it, as it wouldn't work. I love the ipod touch, as there is so much you can do with it, and with it having a browser and also youtube on it, it is a cool ipod. I am glad I bought it, as I am enjoying it a lot and I have already downloaded a few songs to it. It is a little spendy though, and if you have the $225, then I would say go for it.
