How many of you love your betterhalf as much as shahjahan?  | |  I visited Taj Mahal when i was 23 years old. It is situated in Agra, Delhi In India. It is really a wonderfull place and a lovely, memorable event to spend time especially during night times. It was built by Shah Jahan in the momory of his wife to show his love towards her. It is one of the wonders in the world. If possible everyone atleast who are staying in India should visit this place in their lifetime. Tajmahal resembles the love of Shahjahan on his wife.

He was the shehenshah of Hindustan...he had enormous wealth and manpower at his disposal, hence he could build the Taj Mahal to comemorate his love...we are humble humans with little money and no manpower...our love reflects in the way we spend our lives together, sharing the ups and downs with a smile on our face.

| | 2.  tulipstrader (915) | 8 months ago |  people have been fooled for over 300 years by this tajmahal myth. tajmahal existed atleast 500 years or more before shahjahan. the first mughal emperor Babur died at the same rajput palace which was later called by historians as tajmahal. taimur, the famour medieval muslim emperor wanted to build one of the same kind at his capital city, samarkhand.
Shahjahan had more than 5000 women in his harem. His wife is the daughter of persian emperor. and Arjumand Banu Begum, in whose memory tajmahal is known to the world is only one of those women from his harem. shahjahan never spent much time mourning, as it is made out by the historians. he was fighting wars through out his tenure of about 30 years before he was imprisoned by aurangzed. he fought 48 wars in 30 years. all that he did was to appropriate a magnificent hindu rajput temple-palace and looted all its wealth. arjumand banu begum or mumtaz's death came in handy for him.
when he had more than 5000 women at his harem, where was the time for him to shower all his love on just one mumtaz. if he really cared for mumtaz, he would not have tortured her with fourteen childbirths. she died at the fourteenth childbirth. if he really loved mumtaz, he would not have had an affair with is own daughter.
