Buying Brand Name Items for Box Top for Edcuation

During the school year do you buy name brand items for the Box Tops or other collectables (soup labeles, coffee UPC's, etc) to send to your childs school? Are these items you normally buy name brand? During the school year I feel obligated to buy the more expensive items so that I can send these things to school with my son. I know that it is great for the school to be making money (.10/box top), but I am putting more money out. During the summer I don't even think twice about buying all generic and saving box tops/labels/UPC's.
