Do you put wallpaper on your desktop or you just want it plain?  

I have always used a wallpaper on my desktop because it helps make it more pleasing to look at the wallpaper then the ones that come with the computer and plus I can change it to whatever I want which also helps if I get bored of it. I usually have scenery or peaceful backgrounds as my wallpaper. Places such as forests or somewhere that has a beautiful scenery is really great. I am looking forward to hearing some of the replies from my fellow mylotters to see what they prefer.

hai rose i love to make my desktop colorful always..mostly i use some nature related images or original images as a wall paper. But some times i do put some graphics related or animations pictures to the desktop wallpaper. So that my laptop will get a crazy look...he he he..nice topic selection...keep lotting..

I put pictures of my family up as wall paper. It feels so much more friendly and inviting than the solid color field. I used a picture of my husband and I cutting our wedding cake for my notebook and one of the whole family right after our second child was born on my desktop. Both of them make me smile each day.

i usually leave it as plain black or gray but sometimes if i miss someone or my family, i make their faces as my wallpaper for quite sometime. :B

i sometimes use hilarious/humored pictures from the net but very seldom.

I lovee to put pictures as my wallpaper. Sometimes some of my photography, nature images, pictures of friends/family, or of cool, abstract things from photoshop. It helps give a personal touch to your computer. I like it because no matter what you are doing when you minimize or close a window it gives you a little bit of a break from whatever you are working on.

I always have a picture of my 3 year old granddaughter. I change it from time to time with a my favorite picture at Christmas, Easter, Her Birthday, Summertime. Its great opening my computer and seeing her beautiful face smiling back at me.

I have the Stonehenge one which is by in the basic windows wallpaper collection and I like it.I sometimes switch t soap bubble one but not beyond that.

I also love to put picture on my desktop.I usually keep mine on the desktop.Whenever if any likes to open my desktop they could see my picture.Some times i get bored i would like to keep pictures of nature which i like the most.Depending upon my mood and interest i will keep pictures on my desktop.

i love wallpapers on my desk top too..i keep changing them depending on my mood.On my office computer i keep scenereys , flowers and some shots taken myself and not personal pictures ..while in my personal laptop i keep pictures of near n dear ones ..it just puts a smile on my face seeing them when i open my computer to work.

For ur information..today my destop is clean and without any wallpaper..its one of those rare days i decied to keep it empty and inceidently i am responding to this

I usually do not like to put any wall paper on my monitor screen because i like it plain and simple, but my children do like to have wallpapers and so my monitor keeps on switching between plain to differnt wall paper designs.
