Searching For Love When Single  | | 
I have a good friend who recently divorced, seems to me she is on the prowl, out to prove to herself in one way or another that she is still attractive, still desirable...which she very much is, but hearing it from me doesnt wash well..i dont know if she thinks i am lying to her, or maybe she just needs to hear it from someone that doesnt know her.
She convinced me to go to the clubs on the weekend, so many youngins, and mostly couples...we were offered a few drinks, asked to dance a few times, but really the scene was depressing. She left at nights end deflated and feeling less about herself because she really wanted someone to notice her.
I have been in a committed relationship a long time, I cant even comprehend being single or having to put myself out there again trying to find someone that will help make my life a little more enjoyable..
Any suggestions on how I can cheer a friend that longs to be desired???

| | | | | | | | 1.  wheresthefun (791) | 8 months ago |  well something like that takes time all you can do is be a friend to her and be there for her and try to keep her busy the less time she has to think bout everything the better she will be. there are alot of things she can better then goin to a club like goin out to eat mybe to a movie. i have a friend goin though the same thing i just try to talk to him everyday and tell him to pass by on the weekends.

Being single is really a hard thing in life, like mine, I always dreamed to be with the man I truly love but right now it remains a huge illusion and don't even know if it will ever happen in my life. What I am doing right now is just pray hard that all my troubles and longings will be rest in peace and I can have peace of mind and heart.
