ellen or oprah?

I love both shows very much and for different reasons. Yes, Ellen's show makes us laugh and its an hour to forget your problems and just have fun. Where Oprah's show is more about serious subjects, and teaching us different things that we need to know concerning our health with Dr. Oz, or she has stories concerning whats in the headlines plus the occasional entertainer. They really can't be compared but to me they are both good shows.

Ellen and Oprah's talk shows air at the same time where I live, and I always chose Oprah over Ellen. Occasionally I'll watch Ellen during commercials (if I'm not recording the show, that is), but for the most part, I don't get much out of Ellen's show. I like her fun style, but I rarely care about the celebrity guest or the topic she talks about. However with Oprah, I learn and am inspired a lot of the time. I love all her "Best Life" shows, I enjoy whenever Dr. Oz is on (and he's even getting his own show starting in September, whoo hoo), and her discussions on various topics like health, money, etc. She's more serious than Ellen, but that's why I like it. When Oprah has a celebrity guest, I rarely watch. I like topics that will make me think, not just something I'll sit back and passively watch.

Both women are amazing, but I prefer Oprah.

Well, i love both show. They both different. Not to mention, one is so LA, and the other in chicago. Ellen's are supposed to be funny, not only becoz she's comedian, but it also becoz it daylight show (correct me if im wrong). While for oprah, it had more serious touch. It indeed suppose to discuss serious and delicate matter. I saw Ellen once trying to talk something like Oprah, but it didnt work. People laugh in Ellen, and cry in Oprah. Can not be switched or turned around. I think i love both show equally. But i do admire Oprah more. She has bigger "name", bigger influence through out the world, and definitely a "bigger" human being.
