What is the worst hotel you ever stay in?

May be my experience a bit worse than yours. I remember that day when I went to small city named "Marisa" for job task. Marisa actually a very small city with population may be just couple of hundred. There's no good or expensive hotel there, I'm searching for sometime and finally found one. I thought it is good spot hotel, because the place is just near airport. First day I stay there, the electricity going off, unfortunately those hotel don't have any diesel generator, I'm complaining but there is nothing they can do. Can you imagine sleeping in the dark? But hey, it is not inside a cave, it is a hotel! The toilet even worse, spider web stretch out on every side of toilet. On the corner of toilet there is a bucket full with water, but the water seem kinda suspicious, I wonder if that bucket already been there for weeks & not being cleaned.

I have never stayed in a bad hotel as me and my bf always stay either in a 4star or 5star hotels. The last time we had a vacation, we got an Executive Suite which is normally $121 USD but that time they have a 50% rate promo so we got the suite room at a lesser price and with great amenities and a free buffet breakfast for two persons so basically its a very good value. I went to Sumatra in Indonesia and checked into a hotel. The room had a stable like door. It had two single beds. I sat down but saw writing on the wall that said something scary! "These beds have bugs and flees so check out now". Sure enough it looked like that was true. It was late at night. I complained to the manager and he offered me a triple room. It had a double bed and a single bed. I put my backpack on the floor with my things in a couple of plastic bags. That night I heard something run across the plastic bags. I wondered if it was mice or rats. Then at dawn sounds came from the nearby mosque. I asked some other travelers where would be good to stay and booked in there.
