I visited a few orphanages in madras. It was a kind experience when I met a few chidren there. CAn you believe that children are discarded at a young age by the parents or their parents dead in a few cases. Whatever it may be it is deplorable to see infants and children in the orphanages. But kudos to the people who run the orphanages!

During my College days, we have community extensions for those indigent people and we also visit shelters such as orphanage and rehabilitation centres. It’s also a good way to learn people from other walks of life.
It’s somehow educational and in a good way emphatic because you are listening to kids who are orphans and learning from their stories.

While I was at colege studying full time we used to go to the childrens home to minister to them. Most of the time we did a little play for them with a message and then we would spend some time with the kids talking about whatever they wanted to talk about. We went there once a week and got very close.
When I think back now, I actualy miss them. Thay are just normal children who lost their parents through diferent situations. Some realy sad stories of bad parents, etc. It was nice to see how strong some of the kids are, standing strong above cercumstances. It made us feel so small and humble.
I believe those kids all ahve a special place in God's heart.

I have visited many orphanages in my city and other cities as a part of our charity work. It's really hard when I see those children in orphanages. Do you know that there are a few orhanages who take donations from many people but do very little for the children. It shocking but its the truth. We do everything we can to help. We help teaching others, meaning children who cannot afford education.
