I wouldn't count on making much in PVP. My friends were all about it until they took a few losses & realized it ate up more cash than they got back out of it.

whats the point of getting 99 in A stat why not gettin it in ALL of your stats

My current goals are:
99 Defence at Flesh Crawlers, Lol.
99 Mage. My irl mate and I are getting it together.

and, Saradomin Godsword.

I'm not actually trying for the cape is the thing, it's just sorta happening, lol. I'd rather have all my stats way on up there than focus on one to get a skillcape. Darn evil trees though....

actually.. i am a free user! so i cant think of getting a skill cape (though i can be a level 99) yet i need to be a member.but why fear while mylot's here mylots pays me well even for what i am writing rite now so no pprobs and "runescape membership here i come!!!"ok now if u ask me on what you shuold go to level 99 i would suggest fire making chop the yews sell in the ge get above 10-14 maple logs and get set to burn..

By the time I got a youtube video to load up ( I'm on dial up ) I could already have the cape. I have 88 now & since I like the evil trees & shade burning in Morton I'll have it pretty close to 99 before long.

What exactly is this about an evil tree? I have heard of it also just never really took time to pay attention about it with me being f2p and all...

an evil tree is appearently a "[something(i think abomanotion)] of nature" -spirit tree, tree gnome stronghold. you have to hunt them down via the spirit trees. there are 7(or 6) types of evil trees:

evil regular tree(need confirmation of existance) - probably requires 1 wc
evil oak tree - requiring 15 wc
evil willow tree - requires 30 wc
evil maple tree - requires 45 wc
evil yew tree - requiring 60 wc
evil magic tree - requiring 75 wc
and last, but not least
evil elder tree - requiring 85 wc

all evil trees start out as a sapling which can be nurtured for nice farming expierence. cutting the evil tree, click inspect to see how much percentage of its health is remaining and how many percent of the reward you have earned. if you helped kill the evil tree, you will get some logs(equivalent to the normal version of the normal tree. unless it is an elder then it's random) and a certain amount of auto banking time(up to 26 minutes if you earn 100% of evil elder tree rewards). talk to spirit trees and ask about the evil tree(i believe monkey madness, and a bunch of other gnome related quests are required). they will say either "evil tree will not be present for over (insert time period)" or "a strange sapling is about to sprout" or "the strange sapling is in (hint of location)" or if an evil tree is present "help dispatch evil tree?" when they ask you to help dispatch evil tree, you have the option to teleport straight there.*

F2P...Why?????

In members, the game is a little too addicting. So I have decided to go f2p again. Everyday after school, I have to deal with the temptation to play RS and do my homework. When doing my homework, all i think about is what I'm going to do today on RS and i finally break around when 1/3 of my homework is done. As a result, I stay up late to get my homework and always barely finish my homework. Not only that but also, I noticed that my test grades have been dropping since I have gotten members. F2p will be easier to resist for me so I must go back f2p. I will go p2p for around maybe 3 months during summer vacation.

Yeah Gbeast I know what you mean, I had the same problem for a long time, you get used to it though. Enjoy f2p:)
